We are seeking a talented and motivated BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to drive design excellence and streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

  • BIM Management:

    • Manage and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM standards and best practices are followed.

    • Conduct regular model reviews and quality control checks.

  • Model Creation and Coordination:

    • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed BIM models.

    • Coordinate with other disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure model integration.

    • Resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM model.

  • Data Extraction and Reporting:

    • Extract data from BIM models for various purposes, such as quantity takeoffs, clash detection, and construction documentation.

    • Generate reports on model performance and project progress.

  • Workflow Development and Improvement:

    • Collaborate with the BIM team to develop and implement efficient BIM workflows.

    • Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes and standards.

Must-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in BIM coordination or modeling.

  • Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).

  • Strong understanding of building information modeling principles and workflows.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).

  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo).

  • Experience with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BIM Level 2, BIM Level 3).

  • Understanding of construction documents and specifications.
