Senior Architect - Institutional Projects
Location: New York, New York
Full Time, In Office
Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 Base, plus benefits

Their portfolio spans libraries, higher education facilities, residential and recreational developments, corporate offices, museums, and visitor centers, with a strong track record of award-winning design work across the country.

The firm is growing its project leadership bench and is looking for a seasoned Project Architect to partner directly with the principals on a varied portfolio of academic, cultural, and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Lead design and documentation on multiple concurrent projects, from early concept through construction
Contribute actively to the firm's design dialogue and creative culture
Manage consultant coordination, project schedules, and technical detailing
Oversee construction administration across project phases
Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth
Collaborate closely with clients and principals throughout the design process
Must-haves
Professional degree in Architecture
Active architectural licensure
8+ years of professional experience across all project phases
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong design sensibility paired with technical depth
Experience working alongside consultant teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-haves
3D modeling and rendering experience in Rhino, V-Ray, or Enscape
LEED accreditation or project experience
Background working on academic, cultural, or civic project types

Compensation Disclosure
